Our product range
To optimize your performance on the court, we recommend equipping your racket with an overgrip. Do you lack comfort when holding your racket, or feel like it slips from your hands during play? This accessory will quickly become essential for you… Adding an overgrip to your racket provides better grip and extra comfort. It also protects your original grip, helping extend the lifespan of your equipment. Additionally, using an overgrip allows you to increase the thickness of your handle.
At Babolat, we offer a variety of overgrips for all playing levels, ensuring that every player can find the perfect fit.
Which overgrip is right for you?
Looking for more playing comfort?
If you’re a player seeking extra comfort, we recommend equipping your racket with the Pro Tour 2.0. This overgrip is suitable for all types of players, from amateurs to competitors, and offers excellent sweat absorption. Thanks to its tacky feel, the Pro Tour 2.0 ensures a secure and firm grip for greater control.
For a touch like Rafa, choose the VS Original, the thinnest overgrip in the range. Extremely tacky, this overgrip has been a tour favorite for over 10 years. Available in multiple colors, it’s perfect for players looking for a dry feel. Ultra-thin, it won’t affect your handle size.
Looking for affordable performance?
Babolat’s My Overgrip offers the perfect balance between absorption and durability. With its slightly tacky feel, it is designed to suit a wide range of players looking for long-lasting performance.
Available in multiple colors, it adds a personalized touch to your racket.
When should I change my overgrip?
As a general rule, it is recommended to change your overgrip every 5 to 10 hours of play. However, this can vary depending on your playing intensity, sweat level, and the conditions in which you play.
You should also watch for signs that indicate it's time to replace your overgrip: loss of tackiness (grip becoming too slippery), a damp or unstable feel, changes in texture or color, or the appearance of blisters on your hand.
How should I store my overgrip properly?
Just like your grip, it’s important to take care of your overgrip to extend its lifespan and maintain optimal performance:
- Avoid excessive exposure to heat and humidity, as this can reduce its absorption capacity.
- Wash your hands before playing to prevent dirt from accumulating on the overgrip. Ideally, use a protective cover for your racket to shield it from external elements that could degrade the overgrip.
- Store your unused overgrips properly by keeping them in their original packaging and in a cool, dry place. To ensure peak performance, we recommend using them within one year of purchase.
